Making disciples and planting churches.

We do this by:

• preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ (Sunday Gathering),
• training leaders (Elders & Deacons),
• living as missionaries in our culture (City Groups)
• expanding our influence through church planting (Satellite Campuses)

Beyond a Building

Brickcity Community Church is a group of people who Jesus has saved and sent to be missionaries. We come together as one giant family to worship Jesus each Sunday and meet in community called “City Groups” throughout the week.  We are not attached to any one building and it is our intention to keep the church as flexible as possible so that we can full follow God’s will for where He has placed us.

Multisite

Right now we have one campus but part of our vision is to continue to expand the gospel to many areas through planting satellite church campuses.  We intend to become one church that meets in many locations.  These campuses will be local and regional as God provides open door opportunities.

City Groups

Our mission can not be accomplished with a Sunday gathering alone.  In fact the real thrust of the gospel going forward in our city will happen as Jesus’ disciples make new disciples.  This is in obedience to the commission that He gives us in Matt 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8.  Disciples of Christ are to live as image bearers of God in their communities and reflect His glory to their neighbors.  Another aspect of being a disciple is living in community with other disciples and fulfilling the many “one another’s” as described through the New Testament.  This lifestyle of community is expressed through prayer, worship, bible study, serving, and meeting each other’s needs all the while being the light of Christ to the world around them.
