We Believe that...                                               

1) People matter to God even if they don’t know it yet, therefore they matter to us. Luke 5:30-32, Luke 15, Matthew 18:14 

 

2) The church should be culturally relevant while remaining true to the message of the Bible. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 

 

3) A simple presentation of Jesus Christ in creative ways will impact and change lives. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

 

4) Christ-followers should pursue a lifestyle of continually taking steps towards Christ, with honest accountability.   Ephesians 4:25-26, 32, Hebrews 12:1, Philippians 1:6 

5) The church should offer opportunities for all people to take steps toward Christ through participating in service at their level of commitment.

 

6) Ministry is best accomplished in teams. 1 Corinthians 13, Nehemiah 3, Luke 10:1, John 13:34-35 

 

7) The most effective way to grow the church is through people inviting people.  Prov. 11:30; John 1:43-45; 4:28-30 

 

8) Excellence honors God and inspires people.  Therefore it should permeate everything we do.  Colossians 3:17, Malachi 1:6-14, Proverbs 27:17 

 

9) The church should be led by Christ-followers with leadership gifts who have embraced the mission, vision and core values of their church.  Nehemiah 1-2, Romans 12:8, Acts 6:2-5
